Okay, so Epson’s WorkForce 610 (successor to the WorkForce 600) might not be faster than a speeding bullet, but according to Epson, it’s the "world’s fastest" all-in-one inkjet printer priced under $200. Boasting speeds of 38 pages per minute in black and color, the 610 is a force worth considering for home or small office use. And Epson insists the multifunction performer is more than just swift — it also offers laser-quality output.
The WorkForce 610 creates high-resolution prints, thanks to Epson’s MicroPiezo print-head technology and proprietary pigment-based, quick drying, smudge-, fade- and water-resistant inks. The WorkForce 610 comes complete with a 30-page automatic document feeder to quickly copy and scan documents up to three seconds per page and supports two-sided printing.
The all-in-one features built-in Ethernet and WiFi networking. For walk-up operation, the printer sports a 2.5-inch LCD screen that you can adjust to view the console interface and, among other tasks, print from and scan to removable memory cards.
